Transfer from Zurich airport via first class rail to Sils Maria, then settle in for a welcome drink and five course dinner. Your options in this inspiring town are endless. Take a horse drawn carriage ride, explore on your own, or with a local guide, or simply relax at the hotel spa. Those who do go exploring will be walking in the footsteps of Nietzche, Bowie, and others who’ve found inspiration in Sils Maria’s views.

Arrival, Zurich to Sils-Maria
Upon arrival in Zurich, board your train and enjoy 1st Class seating for approximately three hours as your transferred to the Alpine resort town of St. Moritz. Here, an awaiting vehicle will meet you at the train station to bring you to your hotel. Once squared away at the Waldhaus in Sils-Maria, settle in for a welcome drink and an impressive dinner.

Sils-Maria
In Sils-Maria, allow your mind to wander. Authors like Nietzsche, artists like Beuys, and musicians like David Bowie were all inspired by the fantastic views and ethereal beauty of the area, all serving to establish Sils' reputation today as a place of great culture. Though much of the day is yours at leisure, a lovely horse-drawn carriage ride through town in the afternoon will be a memorable experience ahead of a delicious dinner at the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, a vehicle will take you to St. Moritz to board the Glacier Express. Today you will take the train to the beautiful town of Lucerne. After arrival, head out on the water to take part in a gourmet lunch cruise on Lake Lucerne.
