Welcome to Qatar! We are delighted you have chosen to visit the beautiful country of Qatar and will ensure you start your journey off right. Our local representative will meet you airside on the aerobridge or at the aircraft with a signboard with your name on it. Once you have been identified, you will be escorted through passport and immigration to the baggage claim area to collect your bags. Your representative will then escort you to the airport exit for your onward transfer.

On the Arabian Gulf, the Mercure Grand Hotel sits in the heart of the bustling business district of Doha next to Msheireb Metro Station, near Souq Waqif, the Arab marketplace and the Msheireb Downtown Doha. Our four meeting rooms for up to 200 people will meet your every business needs, while our restaurants and bars will take care of your appetite as you dine on international cuisine at La Brasserie, Italian cuisine at La Villa, and fine steaks at The Old Manor Steakhouse and Bar. This morning, embark on your half-day tour of Doha. After pick up from your hotel, you'll discover the unique heritage of Downtown Doha as you wander through the vibrant labyrinth of alleyways of Souq Waqif. View modern-day Doha's towering iconic architecture as you drive along the Corniche, Doha's iconic waterfront where the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf provide the setting to the city's impressive skyline. We then proceed to Katara Cultural Village which is the largest cultural project in Qatar. Experience the cultures of the world with beautiful theatres, concert halls, exhibition galleries, and cutting-edge facilities. Next, head to The Pearl-Qatar, a man-made island with luxury accommodation, high-end shopping, and fine dining. Marvel at superyachts as you stroll along the marina, chic boutiques, and luxury car dealerships in a setting inspired by the architecture of the Middle East and the Mediterranean before heading back to your hotel.

Discover the remarkable desert landscape where sand dunes spill into the azure waters of the Inland Sea. Our qualified desert drivers will take you on an adventure, traveling through the dramatic sand dunes to Khor Al Adaid, a large tidal embayment recognized for its outstanding natural heritage value.

After being collected at your hotel drive we drive approximately 1 hour to the entrance of the desert at Sealine. Here we have a brief stop to deflate our tires, but you will also have an opportunity to take a tea break, or camel ride. From here, the adventure starts with our off-road desert drive through the dramatic sand dunes. Your experienced driver will navigate the dunces until we reach Khor-Al-Adaid or the inland sea. You will have an opportunity to take in the magnificent desert landscape, visit the towering Sheraton Dune and marvel at the azure waters of the Arabian Sea before we depart for a brief comfort stop at our desert camp before heading back to Doha.
