Opening early 2010, Legacy's latest hotel and all suites development is located adjacent to the prime location of Nelson Mandela Square. This is Legacy's fourth hotel on the cosmopolitan square in the heart of the Sandton business and leisure district. One could speak of the opulence of the rooms, the restaurant and lounge, pioneering fitness centre and health spa but we would suggest you come and see for yourself. Today you will enjoy a Half Day Private Soweto Tour. You know the name. It's a legend. SOWETO, acronym for South Western Township, is home to over 2 million people, who, despite living in crowded and chaotic conditions, have a tangible sense of community, one which ironically, the ordered, walled, elitist northern suburbs lack. Inside Soweto, guests visit the Kliptown Open Air Museum where delegates met in 1955 to adopt the Freedom Charter, now the cornerstone of the Bill of Rights and the South African Constitution. This journey continues to Regina Mundi Church, site of many secret underground meetings of the then banned political parties. The next stop is the Hector Pieterson Museum, and discover the cause of the tragic riots which led to his death; guests will pass Mandela House, and give you time to visit this fascinating little museum (own account). Finally we take you past the largest stadium in Africa, Soccer City, host of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final. Soweto is unlike a suburb you've ever seen or been to, yet the history of struggle encapsulated here is a cornerstone of the South African Story.

Upon arrival at Richards Bay Airport, you will be met and transferred to Amakhosi Safari Lodge. This afternoon, depart on an afternoon game drive in the reserve (time permitting). Your ranger is your host for the duration of your stay and they will take care of your every need whilst sharing their intimate knowledge of the wild. Sipping sundowners under an African sky somehow "finishes off" the whole day's experience.

Up at dawn for your early morning game drive! Of course, the less energetic are welcome to sleep late! Search out a multitude of animals including lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and cheetah, together with a wealth of antelope and birds interacting in their natural environment.

Return to camp for a hearty breakfast, relax or talk with your ranger and mingle with the guests. Your afternoon game drive takes you well into the evening. Return to your lodge for another sumptuous dinner. Weather permitting you may enjoy a bush 'braai' at a surprise venue!

A second full day in the reserve to explore the area with your included activities.

After breakfast and one last game activity, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Umhlanga where the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Today is at your leisure to relax and explore Umhlanga and its surrounds.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport in time for your onward flight to Hoedspruit (flight not included). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your private game reserve. Time permitting, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Today is spent in the reserve as you search out the Big Five and the many other inhabitants that call this area home on your morning and afternoon game drives.

This morning (time permitting) you depart on your final game drive with the hope of spotting that extra special sighting. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart for the airport in time for your onward flight.
