Your journey takes you to the city of Marrakech, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco from the heights of the Islamic Empire. Staying in a first-class hotel capturing the elegance of Moorish design, you’ll have a few days to explore the city to enjoy its combination of spice markets, medieval fortifications, and exquisite design and artwork. One day, head on a full day private tour of some of the city’s main landmarks. You’ll start at Djemaa el-Fna, the central square that is the heart of the city. Get acclimated to the city’s unique culture and the sights of musicians, snake charmers, textile artisans, and fortune-tellers. Then continue to Koutoubia Minaret, Bahia Palace, and the Tiskiwine Museum. After lunch, head into the old medina and explore the labyrinth of souks before ending the tour at Menara Gardens, enjoying the oasis of olive groves and orchards with views of the Atlas Mountains. The rest of your time in Marrakech is at leisure to barter for spices and jewelry in the souks, learn about the history of the Islamic Empire, and enjoy delicious Moroccan dishes at celebrated restaurants.

Full Day Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. We start at Djemaa el Fna, the central square and Marrakesh's heartbeat surrounded by bazaars, mosques, terraced cafes, snake charmers, fire-eaters, and fortune-tellers. After the visit, we stop at the Koutoubia Minaret, the oldest of the three great Almohad towers, and the Bahia Palace, a marvelous display of painted wood, ceramics, and symmetrical gardens. We then proceed to Tiskiwine museum which houses an impressive collection of North African arts and crafts. The museum, which was founded by a Dutch anthropologist, is organized into geographically themed exhibits, with each room focusing on artifacts from different towns and regions along the ancient trade route from Marrakech to Timbuktu. The works on display include exquisite hand-woven carpets and textiles, traditional Berber clothing and jewelry, intricate basketwork and tribal handicrafts. Then enjoy a tour by a walk through the old medina and the labyrinth of souks. After lunch (own expense), head to New city "Guéliz" the heart of the modern part of Marrakech, enjoy a brief tour of this area where many foreigners choose to live. Continue to At the Menara Gardens, apart from the spectacular gardens and the wonderfully charming pavilion, you will encounter beautiful orchards and olive groves, and a huge artificial lake, originally created to irrigate the gardens. The lake is replenished by an impressive 700-year-old hydraulic system and a complex network of underground channels that bring water from the Atlas Mountains roughly 30km away. Visitors can enjoy fantastic panoramic views from side of the lake opposite the pavilion, with the pavilion's reflection on the mirror-like water, and snow-covered peaks of the Atlas Mountains. Return back to your hotel for overnight.
