FIRST-CLASS | PRIVATE-GUIDED: Seeing is believing – these enormous giant lizards are totally unique and here they can be viewed close up in their natural habitat. Also enjoy time to swim and snorkel on Komodo Island.
Start with a flight from Bali to Labuan Bajo in the west of Flores Island. Labuan Bajo was once a small fishing village but is now a resort handy for excursions to view the famous Komodo Dragons. The rest of the day is spent enjoying the area around Labuan Bajo including the Batu Cermin Cave, an impressive rock formation into which the sun’s rays perform a spectacular show of reflected sunlight. Then head to the Ujung Fisherman Village to view a spectacular sunset from the harbour. Overnight in Labuan Bajo.
The following morning, take a motor boat to Rinca Island, part of Komodo National Park. This is one of the places to see the Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat. Komodo Dragons are members of the Monitor Lizard family and average in length around 3 metres/10 feet and are often larger. They weigh around 70 kilogrammes/150 pounds. The lizards are carnivores feeding off local animals. There are over 1000 in Rinca and the same on Komodo Island. After viewing the Komodo Dragons on Rinca Island, you will then continue to by boat to Komodo Island. Enjoy an afternoon trek here to Banunggulung where you have the opportunity to swim or snorkel at Pink Beach, one of only seven in the world with its mixture of white and red sand. Return to Labuan Bajo for dinner and overnight.
The next morning take your return flight back to Bali.

Rinca Islands and Pink Beach
Meet your guide in the early morning and transfer to the harbour to take a local wooden boat ride to Rinca Island. Travel over the blue tropical waters passing hundreds of smaller islands, the boat rides takes approximately 2.5 hours. Upon arrival in Rinca Island, disembark and begin a guided tour to look for Komodo dragons and other types of wildlife such as deer, birds and water buffaloes. Then return to the boat and transfer to Komodo Island. At Komodo Island take a guided walk to Banuguluna, to see Komodo dragons. Afterwards, return to the boat and visit Pink Beach for some free time to relax, swim and snorkel. At the end of the tour return by boat to Labuan Bajo and drop off at your hotel.
