This 7-day Asian vacation takes you on a culinary tour to Hong Kong and Taipei. It features moderate, first-class, or deluxe accommodations depending on your preference, shared and private tours, and is an ideal city break for foodies.

Your journey begins in Hong Kong, Asia’s World City, the Chinese metropolis that is beloved across the world for its towering skyscrapers, celebrated food and shopping, and 24/7 bustle. Whether sightseeing, shopping, or eating, you’ll never run out of things to do in Hong Kong. One day, head on a sightseeing tour that foregoes the ordinary in order to show you the living culture of Hong Kong. Discover hidden gems in the company of a local guide as you head from the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade to Hong Kong Island and along the Heritage Route. Another day, discover the city’s food scene on a walking tour that lets you sample egg tarts, dim sum, wonton noodles, and famous “silk stockings milk tea.” You’ll also learn about the city’s history along the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail. Spend the rest of your time in Hong Kong taking advantage of the tax-free shopping and incredible restaurant scene.

From Hong Kong, fly to Taipei, the capital of the island nation of Taiwan. Much like Hong Kong, Taipei is a blend of cultural influences and cosmopolitan comforts. It’s also a great food city. A gourmet city tour will showcase the city’s culinary scene. Use the MRT to ride around town and visit famous restaurants and food stalls at Yongkang Street and the Raohe Street Night Market, enjoying lunch and samples along the way. Spend the rest of your time in Taipei discovering its eclectic nightlife and visiting some of the famous national landmarks, like the National Palace Museum and Xingtian Temple.

At the end of your stay, head to the airport to connect back home.

Hong Kong is a paradise for food lovers. We have a long history of food cultures and traditions. Other than shopping and sightseeing, you have plenty to eat, snack and drink. Although Hong Kong is well known for its high-end dining places, something you must do is to see those independently-owned street cafes and open-air market stalls (dai pai dongs) which serve all kinds of exciting foods at affordable prices for both locals and visitors. Your trip to Hong Kong will not be complete without going to these places and trying the egg tart (one of the favorite munchies made famous by the last Hong Kong Governor Chris Patten), dim sum, wonton noodles, Hong Kong French toast and learning the local way of preparing foods and drinks, including the renowned "silk stockings milk tea". On this tour, you would be guided through the Dr. Sun Yat-sen (the first president and founding father of the Republic of China) Historical Trial that gives stories of the life of Dr. Sun and Hong Kong people in the old days whilst learning the exotic delicacies and sampling some of the famous munchies at the local eateries.
