This 4-day Thailand vacation takes you to Pai in Northern Thailand.

After flying into Chiang Mai, you’ll connect to Pai to begin your Thailand tour. Pai has long been one of Thailand’s hidden gems, nestled away in the north of the country and home to some of the most gorgeous scenery you’ll find in all of Southeast Asia. Set in a mountain valley, the town has breathtaking views to spare, and offers incredible access to the villages of Northern Thailand. It’s also quickly becoming popular with international travellers and its modest downtown has a noticeable party vibe once the sun goes down. Spend your time in Pai exploring the historical centres and nearby villages. On your first full day, you’ll visit Wat Nam Hoo to watch water drain out of the head of an image of the Buddha and head to Santichon Chinese Village to meet the Yunnanese Chinese people who fled their homeland during the Cultural Revolution. The next day, explore Lode Cave, one of the largest underground networks in Southeast Asia. Afterwards, head to the Tha Pai World War II Memorial Bridge to snap photographs of one of Northern Thailand’s most famous historical sites.

This 4-Day Pai Experience makes for a great add-on to a longer trip to Thailand.

Day 2

Half day Pai City Temples And Chinese Village Tour

Visit Wat Nam Hoo that you can see water draining out from the head of Buddha Image. Proceed to experience the way of life of the Yunnanese Chines People in Santichon Chinese Village. Then continue to visit Wat Prathat Mae Yen which overalls look around, then drive to Pai Canyon at sunset.

Day 3

Full day Lisu Tribe, Lode Cave and Memorial Bridge Private Tour with Lunch

You will visit Lisu Village early in the morning, then towards Soppong visit Lode Cave. The area boasts limestone caves, said to be some of the largest in South East Asia. Visit the chambers, following a series of walkways and crossing small creeks by bamboo raft, which takes you floating through the cavern in the darkness, listening to and smelling the bats overhead. After the visit and lunch at a local restaurant, Then, continue by car to The Tha Pai World War II Memorial Bridge, or Saphan Prawatsart Pai in Thai language, this antiquated-looking steel bridge is indeed a compulsory stop for tourists for and is also an historical venue after all, though it is no longer the original one with a wooden structure that preceded the one you see now.
