Staying in one of the thatched cabanas of Pooks Hill Lodge, you’ll have the freedom to explore the rainforest and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of the jungle canopy. Spend your days hiking the trails throughout the private nature reserve or relaxing on the balcony back at the lodge, watching colourful birds pass through the canopy. If you want to do something more exciting, go tubing on the river or head on a day trip to the coast to see the world’s second largest coral reef. Closer to the lodge, you can explore ancient Mayan burial sites or head underground to survey a fascinating jungle cave system.

Pooks Hill Jungle Lodge
Located in the pristine jungle region of Belize your jungle lodge is the base for the next few days. With many amenities on hand to sample you can also choose to simply relax on the balcony and immerse yourself in the jungle canopy that envelopes you. Hike the many walking tracks in and around the resort you can explore at your pace before enjoying perfectly cooked meals.

One of the most popular add ons is a day trip or overnight trip to Tikal – just over the border in Guatemala. On your Belizean Jungle getaway you can be as active or relaxed as you choose.
