Hot air ballooning over the Atacama desert is a once in a lifetime adventure. Take in panoramic views of salt lakes, volcanoes in the distance and the wide expanse of the Atacama Desert. An early rise will give you peaceful and calm conditions to take it all in.
You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the launch site where you will be offered tea and coffee, and be given a short preflight briefing. Professional pilots and expert crew will keep you informed throughout the preflight set up. It takes about thirty minutes to inflate the balloon, and once ready you'll be invited to climb aboard. A full passenger safety briefing is given before take off.
You are then up up and away as the sun comes up. Your flight will last approximately an hour and the views are spectacular. Upon landing, celebrate with a delicious champagne breakfast, share memories and enjoy new friendships. The whole experience lasts around 3 hours and afterwards you are returned to your hotel.
