A trip to Colombia is not complete without visiting the “Coffee Triangle”. Experience the aroma of the plantations, explore the picturesque scenery, golf courses and walking trails.
If you haven’t done Colombia for the coffee (served black… always), you really haven’t done it at all. Fortunately, this 3 day stay in the heart of Colombia’s coffee growing region is the perfect remedy.
After arriving at your Hacienda, located on a working coffee farm, you spend your first day enjoying an afternoon at Hacienda San Alberto. Your knowledgeable guide will explain local coffee culture, how they grow and roast the best beans, and of course you will get to sample some authentic and delicious Colombian coffee From here, you will visit the Quindo Botanical Gardens, famous for its diversity of plant life and large Butterfly Conservatory, before returning to your Hacidenda
The next day you will be transferred back to Armenia Airport for your onward travels.

San Alberto Coffee Tasting
Transfer to Hacienda San Alberto. The farm is surrounded by abundant coffee plantations where the procedure of coffee culture and why the area is such a magnet for the connoisseur of this rich drink are explained. There is also a coffee tasting session included in the tour to savour the aromatic smooth coffee of the region.

Salento Town and Cocora Valle
First you visit the town of Salento, one of many typical 'Paisa' towns in the Coffee Region where some of the best examples of bahareque architecture in the area can be found. Observe Antioquian life and their environment. Continue on to the Cocora National park. This is where the protected national tree of Colombia, the wax palm, and the tallest palm in the world can be seen.
