This 8-day Croatian cruise begins and ends in Dubrovnik and takes you into Montenegro to visit Kotor and other historical towns before cruising the Dalmatian Coast. It features moderate accommodations aboard a cruise vessel, shared tours, and is a great add-on to a longer stay on the Adriatic Sea.

Your journey begins in Dubrovnik, the picturesque coastal town known for its old city walls and for being the shooting location for King’s Landing in Game of Thrones. A city tour will introduce some of the medieval and renaissance highlights in the old town before you ride the cable car up Srd Mountain to enjoy gorgeous views over the coastal city and the nearby Elaphiti Islands. In Dubrovnik, you’ll board your 3-star cruise vessel from the Katarina Line. Your ship accommodates 38 passengers in 19 twin or double cabins, ensuring an intimate experience as you explore Montenegro and the Dalmatian Coast.

Head south along the coast and cross the border into Montenegro, catching a bus to Perast to then venture to the artificial island housing the Our Lady of the Rock church, home to magnificent religious tablets and paintings. Continue on to the UNESCO-listed city of Kotor, one of the best-preserved medieval centres in Europe. You’ll explore the city and spot historical landmarks from the Cathedral of St. Triphun, built in 1166, the ruins of a 9th century temple, and Napoloen’s Theatre from the 19th century. Spend the next day exploring historical towns and cities around Montenegro. Start in Budva, where you’ll see the citadel overlooking the Mediterranean and stroll through the narrow streets of the old town leading to historical landmarks like St. Trojica Church. Next stop is Cetinje, the spiritual centre sitting at the foot of Mount Lovcen. Contiune to Njegusi, home of the royal family, where you’ll enjoy a local lunch before heading back to the coast along the serpentine roads overlooking Boka Bay, eventually returning to Kotor.

Turn back north and cross the border into Croatia to explore the Dalmatian Coast. You’ll stop off at the Elaphiti Islands, known for their sandy beaches and gorgeous scenery close to Dubrovnik, before continuing to Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the town and learn about some of the island’s legends before having the evening to yourself to discover local delicacies in some celebrated restaurants or have some fun at a local club. The next day, continue to the island of Mljet, where you can stroll alongside the famous salt lakes of Mljet National Park and enjoy a boat ride to St. Mary Isle, home to a Benedictine monastery. Then turn back towards Dubrovnik and enjoy a farewell dinner as you cruise along the coast, admiring the famous old city walls from their best vantage point.

The next day, you’ll disembark, bid your group farewell, and head to the airport to connect to your next destination.
