FIRST-CLASS | CRUISE: Venture to three continents on one incredible cruise. Aboard the Celestyal Experience, you’ll cruise throughout the ancient world, stopping off in Alexandria, Israel, Cyprus, Rhodes, and Kusadasi to explore ruins, gaze upon historical landmarks, and experience the diverse cultures of the Middle East.
This 8-day Greek cruise takes you to three different continents. It features first-class accommodations, shared tours, and is ideal for travellers interested in history, religion, and archaeology.
Your cruise begins in Piraeus, the Greek port where you’ll board the Celestyal Crystal, a 4-star cruise vessel with elegant staterooms, a large promenade deck, and a spa and fitness room to keep you relaxed and in shape during your journey. After a day at sea, your first stop is the African continent, and particularly Alexandria, the ancient capital of Egypt and legendary home to the Great Library of Alexandria. While the ancient sites themselves no longer stand, you can see the modern library that keeps on the ancient icon’s legacy, as well as the modern lighthouse and the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay. You can also make an excursion to Cairo to see the Great Pyramid of Giza before stopping by the Suez Canal, which connects the Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean.
Continue to the Asian continent and Ashdod, the ancient Israeli port that is mentioned in the Bible and was home to Canaanite settlements around 3,700 years ago. Delve into the port’s religious history and see its wealth of monuments before heading on to Limassol, the Cyprian port and home to an ancient town of the Kingdom of Cyprus. Venture beyond the modern promenade with its exquisite marina and discover Limassol Castle and the Cyprus Medieval Museum.
Head north and pass into Greek waters to Rhodes, where the Colossus used to straddle the harbour. Explore the island’s Greek, Ottoman, and Italian history and see the Acropolis at Lindos, one of Greece’s greatest collection of ruins. The final stop on your journey is Kusadasi in Turkey, home to a massive bazaar where you can shop for spices, rugs, and all manner of Turkish goods. You can also head on an excursion to the nearby ruins of Ephesus, or spend your time seeing the town’s collection of historical landmarks including the Kaleici Mosque and the 17th-century complex of Okuz Mehmed Pasha.
It’s then back to Piraeus to disembark and continue your onward journey.

Piraeus

Alexandria
Sitting on Egypt's Mediterranean coastline, Alexandria, the ancient capital of Egypt is where you'll join a guided excursion to Cairo and beyond. From here, there's everything at your fingertips - the mighty Suez Canal, Egypt's capital and the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the Great Giza Pyramid.
Note: Travelers who have chosen one of the available excursions should disembark from the ship to port of Alexandria and continue by road. Excursions are completed at Port Said where travelers are boarded again.
Second half of Day 3: Port Said (Egypt)
Sitting on Egypt's Mediterranean coastline, Port Said is your last stop after an excursion into Cairo. A stroll along the Corniche before you re-embark your cruise will reveal the city's maritime prowess and power with faded 19th century colonial consulates and mansion houses lining the entry into the mighty Suez Canal, you can't help but stop and stare at the activity, noise and sounds around you.

Ashdod
Located on the sun-soaked Mediterranean coastline, Ashdod is the starting point for a pilgrimage all of your own. A melting pot of religious monuments and cultural offerings can all be found within a short trip and there's something for every taste.

Limassol
Your first glimpse of Limassol from the cruise shirt is its shiny modern marina, filled with row upon row of yachts and fishing boats. You'll be greeted by busy bars and restaurants that make optimum sunset-watching settings, but walk further along the never-ending seafront promenade, Molos and Limassol's past will soon reveal itself.

Rhodes
