Your trip to Hawaii takes you to Hawaii, also known as the Big Island, where you’ll connect from the airport in Kona to the Hilton Waikoloa Village, your oceanfront playground on the Kohala Coast of the islands’ northwest. Based on the Kohala Coast, you’ll explore the Big Island, the largest of the Hawaiian Islands and one of the most impressive natural frontiers in the world. You’ll have plenty of time at leisure to drive along its coastal highways, hike the bases of active volcanoes, and lounge and swim off white, black, and green beaches. You’ll also have access to the chic shops and restaurants of the Kailua Village (Kailua-Kona).
Cap off your first full day on the island with a Voyagers of the Pacific Luau. Feast on hearty Hawaiian dishes and enjoy the dance and music that brings Polynesian stories to life. Another day, sail to Captain Cook’s Monument on Kealakekua Bay and enjoy a day of snorkelling to underwater lava tubes and whale watching. Cap off the journey with a romantic sunset sail along the Waikoloa Coast on a catamaran. Dine aboard the ship and enjoy the unbeatable views of the sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
At the end of your stay, you’ll drop off your rental car and connect back to the airport in Kona for onward travels.

Half Day Voyagers of the Pacific Luau
Late this afternoon Visit the Royal Kona Resort to experience an interactive luau show celebrating the rich cultural history of Hawaii with seating on the glimmering shores of Kailua Bay. Start the evening with an aloha shell lei greeting, and craft demonstrations. Soon after, feast on a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet with traditional Hawaiian dishes made with local ingredients.
Savor authentic island entrees such as honey soy braised beef and fresh-catch fish. Be treated to Big Island flavors with sides like Hawaiian sweet potatoes, coconut rolls, macaroni, and Lomi Lomi salmon salad. Enjoy stir-fried vegetables and kalua-style pork and cabbage. Finish off your culinary experiences with tasty favorites like Hawaiian haupia pudding and coconut cake. Sip Mai Tais, wine, beer, and soft drinks as you embrace the local culture and radiant sunset.
Then, as drumbeats build, the sensational Voyagers of the Pacific Luau show unfolds on stage. Be captivated by a dramatic show inspired by Polynesian stories told through live music, song, and dance, culminating in the exciting Samoan fire knife dance finale.

Half Day Snorkel Sail to Captain Cook's Monument and Romantic Sunset Sail from Waikoloa
The Hoku Nui sets sail from Keauhou Bay at 8:30 am. Keep a watchful eye out for Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, Hawaiian Humpback Whales (seasonal Dec-April), and other marine life while you sail down the beautiful Kona Coast. As you enjoy your tropical-style breakfast, entering Historic Kealakekua Bay, you will observe the world-famous Captain Cook Monument (sail time approx. 45 min.) Your snorkeling adventure will begin in the pristine waters and the vibrant reef of the Marine Sanctuary of Kealakekua Bay.
Your captain will select the best snorkeling sites in Kealakekua Bay, while the friendly and professional crew members provide site briefings and historical facts. The crew members also provide snorkel tips and basic instructions to guests of all ages and experience levels. Life jackets, floatation noodles, and viewfinder boards as well as masks, fins, and snorkels are provided aboard the Hoku Nui. The crew members will help you enter and exit the water if needed and will provide fish identification cards. They will even take you on a guided snorkeling tour and have lunch ready when you have snorkeled up an appetite. Snorkel time is approximately one hour at each location.
Make sure to bring an underwater camera to capture the colorful schools of fish, pods of spinner dolphins that are also commonly spotted in the bay, and the landscaped ledges of ancient lava flows. You will then have a moment for another breathtaking view of the bay while you enjoy a sumptuous lunch with beverages. Exiting the bay, you set sail for "Red Hill" (weather permitting). The Red Hill area is home to unique underwater lava formations such as archways and lava tubes, and more snorkeling with schools of vibrant sea life. As your snorkel adventure comes to an end, you will set sail back to Keauhou Bay arriving by 1 pm (approx.), with majestic memories of your Sea Paradise trip that will last a lifetime.
In the evening explore the Waikoloa and Kohala Kona coastline aboard a 54-foot sailing catamaran. Catch the moment the sun slips below the horizon while you enjoy the cruise with a loved one. You may even see the green flash.
Board from Anaehoomalu Bay to snorkel, sail, and relax. The custom-designed sunset-orange and maile lei sail is a stunning contrast to the azure Pacific as it sails along the blue Pacific Ocean. Bask in the romance and relaxation of a stunning Kona-Kohala sunset cruise.
