Our Canada Vacations and Tours

Stretching between three oceans, Canada is one of the most diverse countries in the world. In the west, the world-famous ski resort of Whistler invites you to explore the mountains by foot, ski, or snowboard as you plunge deep into the alpine forests of British Columbia. Experience the beauty of Lake Louise, whose turquoise waters reflect the Columbia Glacier in the distance between the snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. In the east, explore Nova Scotia’s northern shore where you’ll find the magnificent Bay of Fundy, famous for its changing tides that can fluctuate as much as 15m in one day and picturesque “flowerpot” rock formations that measure the rising waters. Head north to observe polar bears and belugas in their natural environments with a unique experience in Churchill, the “Polar Bear Capital of the World” where you can find the majestic beasts splashing around the Hudson Bay, or deep into the Arctic Tundra as you travel away from civilization in a Tundra Buggy. Looking up, you may catch a glimpse of the dancing lights of the Aurora Borealis, best viewed against the dark sky in places where no other souls can be found. Canada’s urban centres are marked by the vibrant arts, cultural, and culinary scenes found in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Calgary, and Vancouver, combining local flavours with Indigenous traditions.

What is there to do in Canada?

Halifax

Maritime heritage is on full display in Halifax, famous for its fresh seafood, seaside charm, and friendly community spirits. There’s always fun to be had along its lively waterfront, home to the Canadian Museum of Immigration, welcoming pubs with live music, and eclectic restaurants mixing up both local and international fare. Feel the salty sea breeze in your hair as you explore the area’s charming fishing villages and iconic lighthouses that dot the Nova Scotian coastline.

Quebec City

This ancient walled city is the birthplace of Francophone Canada with its European architecture, stunning churches, and hearty French-Canadian cuisine. Stroll through the cobblestone streets of Petit Champlain, one of North America’s oldest commerce districts, taking in the city’s historic fortifications in the shadow of the iconic Chateau Frontenac. In winter, the cold whips up ice sculptures, concerts, sledding, and more at the Quebec Winter Carnival, where you can meet its endearing mascot, Bonhomme, in his distinctly Canadian red tuque and Quebecois sash.

Montreal

As Canada’s second-largest metropolis, Montreal is the country’s bustling arts hub filled with legendary festivals and nightlife where the energy never dies down, boasting live music, vast art collections, and an innovative culinary scene. Enjoy the mix of French and English influences in the historic Vieux Port, where restaurants, bars, and shops line the fairytale-like walkways of this bilingual city. Don’t miss out on world-famous Montreal bagels, churned out fresh from wood-fired ovens in the city’s friendly neighbourhoods.

Toronto

Canada’s cosmopolitan hub is an exciting blend of cultures, colours, and sounds from the bustling financial district to the ethnically diverse neighbourhoods of Chinatown, Little Italy, Kensington Market, Greektown, and more. Take in the city from new heights on the glass floor of the CN Tower, once the world’s tallest free-standing structure, or marvel at the skyline from the Toronto Islands, where you can dip into the sparkling Lake Ontario.

When is the best time to travel to Canada?

Each of Canada’s seasons offers a unique experience, depending if you’re in the mood for a refreshing paddle across a crystalline lake or to cozy up around the fire in a snowy cabin. The weather is most pleasant from May through October, wrapping up in autumn as hues of red and gold sweep across Canada’s forests. Winter may be cold but fosters unforgettable landscapes as snow settles on treetops and sparkles in the sunshine, providing fresh powder for those who seek adrenaline on the country’s Western slopes from November through April.
